RSEU "Climate Ambassadors-2016 " program started in Bryansk region

In March 2016 members of Bryansk NGO "Viola" prepared and carried out announcement of the All-Russian days of actions for climate protection within the international SPARE project. New Program " Climate Ambassadors" was presented to ecologists, members of non-governmental organizations, teachers, students within three days. Actions took place on the basis of educational institutions. Participants got advice on holding actions. Winners of SPARE competitions told about their experience. The new Program arouse a great interest.

The Bryansk non-governmental organization "Viola" is a coordinator of the SPARE Program in Central Federal District of Russia. Teachers and scientists of NGO "Viola": professor L. Evelson, associate professor O. Kalmykov, associate professor L. Zhirina - prepared and carried out announcement of the All-Russian days of actions for climate protection within the international SPARE project in Bryansk region. New Program " Climate Ambassadors" was presented to ecologists, members of non-governmental organizations, teachers, students within three days. Actions took place on the basis of educational institutions. Teachers, scientists, members of non-governmental organizations carried out round –table discussions and brain storms for creation of a regional component of this All-Russian Program. Materials on the organization of local actions in support of simple decisions against climate change were presented to participants of Youth Scientific Conference which took place in Bryansk State Technological University.

Students and teachers of SPARE-school of Bryansk and Bryansk, Vygonichy and Zhukovka districts presented the innovative projects, video movies, researches which can be used for development of the climatic program " Climate Ambassadors". Presentations of winners of annual SPARE competitions in 2013-2015 : Ivan Zaytsev, Anastasia Petrakova, Veronika Mameeva had a great success and approval .Main mottoes of the Program: "We will stop climate change" and "Help yourself and the Planet!". More than 30 schools of the Bryansk region got advice on holding climatic actions in days of the All-Russian actions for climate protection on April 22-30. Members of Power crews and Teams of "Climate Ambassadors" will become initiators of carrying out actions.

School and university students have planned joint actions, round tables and practical actions. The Envoys of Climate program has caused a great interest in heads of kindergartens and organizers of out-of-school work. All participants of the Envoys of Climate program will take part in a role-playing game, will act as experts of the working groups. Coordinators of the Program will give the chance to school students and students to gain new knowledge about fast-changing Klim

Members of Power crews and Teams of "Envoys of climate" will become initiators of carrying out actions. School and university students planned to conduct different actions and round-table discussions.

«Climate Ambassadors” program caused a great interest in heads of kindergartens and organizers of out-of-school work. All participants of the Climate Ambassadors program will take part in a role-playing game and act as experts of the working groups. Coordinators of the Program will give the chance to students to gain new knowledge of the fast-changing climate in our region and on the Planet, to show the leadership skills, to discuss various local history problems and to present their own understanding of the situation.
