26 августа Климатический фестиваль ШПИРЭ стал важной частью Дня поселений в Ярославской области (Первомайский район, п. Пречистое). Школы-ШПИРЭ Брянской, Московской, Ярославской областей представили театрализованное действие о возможностях сохранения климата, провели консультации для желающих стать новыми участниками Программы ШПИРЭ, организовали четыре мастер-класса по энергоэффективности и энергосбережению. Более 300 посетителей узнали о Программе ШПИРЭ.

The President of Russia signed a law that abolishes mandatory energy audits, but at the same time obliges organizations to reduce the use of energy resources. In the opinion of the environmental community, reserves for the improvement of energy efficiency of buildings and organizations’ energy efficient management are enormous and have not been realized yet.
The General Layout of the Russian Power Objects has been published and outcomes of the tender selection for renewable energy facilities (RESs) were announced. The Russian alternative power sector is developing in accordance with the plan but the plan does not foresee any noticeable growth of the sector. 
On the 15th of April at the Russian state library for youth hosted a stand-up called "Tell your idea to the Minister", where Daria Mytareva, a member of the Board of the Russian socio-ecological Union and the youth program coordinator, presented the national youth campaign "Climate Ambassadors".
Owners of small renewable energy units (RESs) will be allowed not only to tap into power lines but also to surrender a part of their own produced energy. Deputy RF Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich commissioned field-specific departments to develop a plan for the enhancement of micro generation capacities.
